Scott and Colleen Kline, the "SC" in SC Cellars, are the creators of a small, but charming winery. Their quaint tasting and events room, reserved exclusively for their "California residents only" wine club members, will make you think you are up in the woods, or out in the country. Having introduced some emerging estate grown and bottled wines over the past several years, this little jewel of an operation is nestled in on the side of the hill, right across the street from valley icons, Maurice Car'rie and VR/La Cereza Wineries (next to Calvary Chapel). Set up to operate, originally, by appointment only, it is now an exclusively private, not open to the public winery.

The Klines, retiring from the Orange County real estate brokering business,  obtained this ideally situated little vineyard during the tail end of the 90's. Working hard every weekend for a couple of years, taking oenology and viticulture courses, and planting a few acres of estate grape varietals, in 2004/2005 finally made the move to Temecula, calling their operation "home". At roughly the same time, much labor and time was poured into building a small wine making cellar (literally in the side of the hill), along with a very cozy events and tasting room facility. Due to new county regulations, making it very hard for really small wineries to exist, and continue to have a clientel, visitation to their facility is reserved to only wine club members, when they are picking up thier "California only" shipments.
