Many years ago before developers discovered Temecula, the valley was dotted with small, family-owned farms, orchards and vineyards. Briar Rose Winery marks a return to those idyllic times as Temecula’s first, reservation-only, boutique winery. It is the fruition of our lifelong dream. In a sense, we have come full circle and we want to celebrate this return to a small, family-owned business. We welcome you to enjoy our wines, wander the gardens and savor the enchantment.
There is nothing quite like Briar Rose Winery. Nestled in the gentle rolling foothills of the Temecula Valley, the premium vineyards produce the most outstanding estate-bottled wines. A stroll around the quaint, European cottage-style, estate quickly reveals the relaxed and peaceful attitude that goes into each bottle of wine produced by Briar Rose. We are dedicated to producing small lot, limited production wines made from the most intensely flavored grapes from our lush vineyards. Annually, we produce about 2400 cases.
Specializing in reds, the estate-grown offerings include an intense Estate Zinfandel, Zinfandel Port, Viognier, Orange Muscat and Riesling. Other offerings include a lively, fruity Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sherry, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and a Special Reserve Alitaco Port.
Wineries and motorcycles don’t usually have much in common, but if the name Linkogle sounds familiar, it should. Our son, Larry, is known as the most influential name in the extreme freestyle motocross industry. He was voted the most popular extreme natural terrain rider in the world by Fox Sports’ Blue Torch TV during the 2002 Moto Survival Tour. Daredevil Larry also set the world’s Long Distance Jump record on his stock 250cc motorcycle and was Vin Diesel’s stunt double in the movie Triple XXX.
The winery hosted the first Freestyle Motorcycle Biker Build-off produced by the Discovery Channel in 2006.
