The Peltzer Family have long been known in Orange County (Ca) as big agricultural mavens, particularly for their premium Christmas tree farms. Around 2006, the Peltzer's purchased several acres of farming and vineyard land, along the west side of Calle Contento, just north of Rancho California Road, and next to Longshadow Ranch. They have planted several acres of vineyards, and annually have begun a big, family oriented Pumpkin Patch event each October. Future plans call for a fully developed winery operation, with the first of their wines expected to become available in or around 2010.
